Prep time




  • 1/2 ripe avocado

  • 1 ripe banana (frozen)

  • 1 1/2 cups low-fat buttermilk

  • 3 large Romaine Heart leaves

  • 14 honeydew melon cubes (1″ or 2.5 cm)

  • 2 fresh mint leaves (plus more for garnish)

  • 10 ice wedges

  • 2 tsp honey (optional)


  • Put the ice wedges into the blender
  • Peel the honeydew melon and cut approximately 1″ (2.5 cm) and put it into the blender
  • Add the ripe avocado and the banana
  • Pour the low-fat buttermilk
  • Then the Romaine heart leaves and fresh mint leaves
  • You can add honey to taste (optional)
  • Blend until smooth
  • Transfer the smoothie into the drinking glass and decorate with the remaining mint leaves
  • Enjoy!
